The food was amazing, and there were a wide range of dishes on the menu. My room included a mini bar, climate control, and tea and coffee making facilities. The location was unbeatable, with a historic Episcopal church nearby and close proximity to The Tides Inn and the river.

The hotel had so many activities and dining options on site, making it convenient and enjoyable. The patio was absolutely gorgeous, and Mark, one of the staff members, was fantastic. I loved the fact that we got to make our own s'mores after dinner, it was such a fun and unique experience. This hotel truly felt like a little slice of heaven compared to busy city life. I wish I could have stayed longer and enjoyed the beautiful location, especially in the evening when it was located on a small beach.
Everything is what I needed and wanted.

Everything in this hotel was fabulous: beautiful location and top-class staff. I thoroughly enjoyed the satisfactory breakfast, offered by the venue. Having a balcony and coffee in my recently renovated room was really great. Location: the hotel was right by the banks of Carter's Creek, Irvington, VA and the Fish Hawk restaurant. It also was to a nearby vineyard.
